🥇 Mocean achieves Gold standard with Green Meetings
We have won a Green Meetings Gold Accreditation.
This is a specialist meeting and events sustainability certification. It’s a new standard for sustainable meetings and events from Green Tourism.
Over the past year, we have been working on our application for Green Meetings. We’ve demonstrated to their assessors how we use our sustainable events playbook to plan and implement our sustainable corporate events.
This is a huge achievement and, with the backing of Green Meetings, we have an even bigger platform to be able to deliver sustainable events as a standard.
A common misconception is that sustainable events are expensive and not as high quality. We are trying to demonstrate that sustainable events are better and you don’t compromise the customer experience in any way.
Winning this award proves that we are a sustainable business, and sustainability is at the top of our agenda. We are dedicated to driving change across our industry. The Green Meetings Standard demonstrates our commitment to sustainable and purpose-led business. It also brings reassurance and confidence to our clients that we have a valid investment in sustainability.

Our groundbreaking sustainable events playbook for corporate events aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs).
We put the planet first by eliminating all the harmful elements from our productions.
As part of our event planning, we look in granular detail at each event we produce and aim to reduce the environmental impact in areas such as carbon, waste, energy, food and water. It is about being prepared, planning for a better outcome and adopting a mindset which challenges.
We are also making great progress with our report and measurement platform which will provide clients with the means of tracking and measuring their event’s environmental footprint. More news on this coming soon so watch this space…
